Authenticate, read, respond.

01 / Access
An operator administrator creates a key in the provider workspace. The full secret is shown once; store it in a secret manager. Keys are hashed, scoped to an operator organization, revocable and valid for one year.
02 / Read
Send a bearer key to the RFQ endpoint. Poll at a sensible interval that respects the 120-request-per-minute key limit.
03 / Respond
Post a response with an idempotency key. Reuse the same key only when retrying identical content.

Only active requests assigned to the authenticated operator are returned. Page size is 1 to 100.

An all-in price cannot contain unresolved items. Supported currencies are EUR, GBP and USD. Quote expiry must be a future ISO date-time with an offset.

Access & safeguards

A safe commercial handoff.

Organization-scoped keys with rfqs:read and responses:write.
Keys shown once, stored as digests, expire after one year and can be revoked.
Idempotency makes retries safe; changed content with a reused key returns 409.
Limit: 120 requests per key per UTC minute. Respect 429.
RFQ data excludes passenger names, contacts, documents and broker contact details.

HTTP status codes

401	Invalid or expired key	Ask an operator admin to issue or rotate a key.
403	Missing scope	Use a key with the required permission.
404	RFQ not assigned	Only respond to RFQs returned for your organization.
409	Closed RFQ or idempotency conflict	Check RFQ state or use a fresh key for a new response.
422	Invalid response fields	Correct the validation errors.
429	Rate limit reached	Wait until the current UTC-minute bucket resets.
503	Temporary service problem	Retry with backoff and keep the same idempotency key.

Built around existing flight operations tools

Operator systems can include charter-sales, fleet, crew, compliance and dispatch software. Jet Intelligence handles commercial RFQs and responses. It does not file flight plans, calculate crew duty, release dispatch or declare a flight operationally ready. Vendor-specific connectors require supported vendor APIs and authorized test access.

ForeFlight Dispatch, FL3XX and Schedaero describe APIs or integrations in official material. This shows that an API handoff is a familiar software pattern, but does not imply a certified Jet Intelligence connector.

Get started

Operator API access is free. There is no API subscription and no per-request fee. An operator administrator with a verified operator account creates an integration key in the provider workspace, stores it once, and tests against this guide, the OpenAPI contract, or the Postman collection. Fleet profile changes stay in review until a steward applies them.

Operator API FAQs

Is the Operator API free?

Yes. Jet Intelligence provides the operator API without an API subscription fee or per-request charge. Fair-use request limits apply.

Does it connect directly to Leon, FL3XX or Schedaero?

The API is vendor-neutral. Your developer or integration provider can connect an existing system where authorized API access is available. Jet Intelligence does not claim a certified connector to these products.

Does the API confirm availability or file flight plans?

No. Operators explicitly submit an availability state with a commercial response. Flight plans, dispatch release, crew legality and operational readiness stay in approved operator systems.

What is included in an assigned RFQ?

The API returns route and schedule details, passenger count, currency, allowlisted requirements, deadline and response status. It excludes passenger identity and travel-document data.
